Thursdays
12.30pm Holy Communion with Prayers for Healing (CW)
in St Thomas’ Chapel (right hand aisle, adjacent to the high altar)
This weekly service is one in which we pray for healing and reconciliation.
Our prayers are offered for individuals and communities in need, and we offer the laying on of hands and anointing with holy oil, as outward signs of our prayers and of the work of God in reconciling all things to himself in love.
You may want to come and receive prayer for yourself or equally, for someone you love or are concerned about or you may want to pray for broader concern.
All are welcome to join us in praying for God’s healing work in our world.
Baptism
Please email mailto:info@lancasterpriory.org directly or come into the Priory and collect a Baptism Preparation Pack from a member of staff, once the forms are filled in and handed back to us the Vicar will make a date with you for your child/ren’s Baptism.
All Age Worship
10.00am All Age Communion
The next ALL AGE service is Sunday 11th May 2025
4.00pm Families@4 on Sunday
The next Families@4 is Sunday 27th April
On the fourth Sunday of each month we invite children and their families to worship and learn together.
There is something in this service for everyone. It is an informal and relaxed service.
The service takes a more child centred approach with much greater involvement by the children from the congregation.
Children can read the lessons, prayers and participate in presentations.
Taizé Service 6.30pm
The next Taizé Service is next Sunday 27th April 2025
(Choral Evensong does not take place on these dates.)
‘Taizé Prayer is evening prayer for all Christian faiths.
It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ’s presence around and within us; songs, prayerful silence, and short readings guide the focus of the prayer in a candle-lit environment.’
