Friday 17th November 2017: Mass in B Minor Concert - 17/11/17

Lancaster Priory 7.30pm

Widely hailed as one of the world’s greatest musical compositions, Bach’s Mass in B minor is one of the great statements of faith in music: a mighty response to life’s terrible silences. Bearing witness to this music, whether as an audience member or a chorister, is one of the things that can change your life. ETO’s orchestra and soloists are collaborating with local choirs to build an opulent experience welcoming back many local singers who took part in last year’s extraordinary performance of Bach’s St John Passion.

Galina Averina (Soprano)
